Getting Cold
This is what we got on Tuesday. The temperature dropped to 0 and even though it all melted by the next morning, it’s been cold outside and cold inside. I finally turned on the furnace because I couldn’t function in the house. It’s one thing to wrap yourself up in a blanket on the couch, but it’s another thing to try to knit or spin or dye yarn when your fingers are numb.
I updated my Etsy shop yesterday and again today with my handspun. I already sold some yarn! This is what was snapped up first (it’s already been shipped out):
Today I’m alone because Alex had a day off from school so we sent him to the dentist, natch! Jeremy took him early this morning before work and then left him at my mom’s, since the dentist is way down near her. I’m chilly being home alone, so I’m going to catch up on my spinning and try to warm up.
