My name is Maggie. I’m a 30-ish woman living in Central Ontario with my husband, Jeremy and my newly-teenaged kid, Alex. We can has 3 cats: Cuba, Jonah and Pippa.
Jeremy is an illustrator who does storyboards for film and television. Sometimes he is also a forklift operator. Alex goes to school and acts appropriately surly for his age. I am a wool pig.
I learned how to knit as a little kid, but couldn’t really be bothered to actually make anything. About four years ago my sister asked for knitting paraphernelia for her birthday because she felt like taking it up. Suddenly I wanted to take it up too, and haven’t been able to stop since. At least, not until last November when my SnB friend Rochelle gave me a spindle and some fibre. Since then, I’ve been obsessed with spinning and dyeing as well as knitting. I have two spinning wheels, a Lendrum DT and a Majacraft Rose.
